anhydrous calcium chloride
A. Products characteristics and uses:
1. Characteristics:
It is colorless cubic crystalline. The usual commercial goods is white, shaped in porous, grainy or cellular, no smell and with a slightly bitter taste. Relative density:2.15(25°C0,melting point: 782°C, boiling point :above 1600°C. highly hygroscopic, easily deliquescent when exposed to the air . Soluble in water and give off a lot of heat, and its water solution is acidic. Soluble in alcohol, acetone and acetic acid. After react with ammonia or ethanol, CaCl2•8NH3 and CaCl2•4C2H5OH are generated. At normal temperatures, usually six water compounds separated through crystallization of water solution, gradually heated to 30 are dissolved in their own crystallization water, continue to heat and the water will be lost gradually, when heated to 200 °C it will be turned into two water compounds, then heated to 260 °C it will be a white porous calcium chloride anhydrous.
2. Uses:
The calcium chloride is used widely in the industries,and its main uses are as below:
1). Snow melt agent for the road, expressway, parking lot, airport golf course and other places;
2). Dehydrating agent for oil drilling, well drilling working liquid and petrochemical industry;
3). Dust removal agent for the dirt, coal dust and mine dust;
4). The construction industry strength agent,it could improve the strength of concrete, coagulator for the production of coatings;
5). Drying agent for moistureproof , industrial gasses and liquids;
6). Coagulating agent for latex for rubber industry;
7). Chlorinated agent and additive for black metallurgy industry;
8). Additive and deinking agent for paper industry;
9). Inorganic chemical raw materials for chemical industry, sulfate removal agent and coagulate agent for brown algae acid sodium
10). Refrigeration agent: refrigeration industry used in refrigeration.
11). Preservative: used to control wheat cabbage and decay and apple food preservatives
12). Used for dyes and printing industry.
B. The classification of our company’s calcium chloride products:
Calcium chloride could be classified into solid and liquid ones.
Solid calcium chloride is a white crystal, and could be divided into: flake, granular, and powdery; And it also could be divided into calcium chloride dihydrate and calcium chloride anhydrous according to different content of crystal water; And the solid calcium chloride is classified in to two grades, namely calcium chloride for industrial use and calcium chloride for food industryl use.
1. Calcium chloride dehydrate classifications:
a. calcium chloride dehydrate(flake one): 70% ,72%,74%,76%
b. calcium chloride dehydrate(granular one): 72%,76%
c. calcium chloride dehydrate(powdery one): 72%,76%
2. Calcium chloride anhydrous classifications:
a. anhydrous calcium chloride (flake one): 92%,95%,98%
b. anhydrous calcium chloride (granular one): 92%,95%,98%
c. anhydrous calcium chloride(powdery one): 92%,95%,98%
